ENTIRE GUESTHOUSE IN OLD WIVES LEES
Steve & Sheila Best run the Tearoom at the railway. They have a perfect little self-catering, one bedroom cottage within the grounds of their home and it is about thirty a minute drive to the Bredgar & Wormshill Light Railway.
It is situated in beautiful countryside close to the historic village of Chilham and anyone staying at this cottage on an open day weekend will be entitled to FREE ENTRY to the railway for two people.
Check the railway open days and then book a minimum three night stay – or longer. Your visit could include trips to other railways in the area or days out to the many attractions Kent has to offer.
Here is what a recent guest had to say:-
“This was probably the best AirBnB accommodation my husband and I have stayed in. Constructed only recently, the space has been thoughtfully planned and decorated. While it has the feeling of a historic barn, it has the amenities of a modern space, which made it a really warm, cozy stay during an unpredictable week. It’s also tucked within the hillside so that most of the windows capture a private green vista through the valley. Even though the property is located within the countryside, the accommodation was still easy to access and provided a great base to explore different parts of Kent. Equally, it was just as nice to sit inside the accommodation, relaxing next to the fire. (My husband was also impressed by the WiFi connection). Thank you Sheila and Stephen for a wonderful break.”
