The routine of cleaning and light maintenance continues with the locos, with one of our younger and one returning volunteer enjoying the work.
Zambezi was out of traffic for replacement of a main steam pipe gasket and fitting of a new top of the chimney. A local college took on the fabrication work for the chimney and did a fantastic job.
Lady Joan has returned from her visit to the Richmond Light Railway, we had and enjoyably if somewhat hot day, but was looked after really well by the railway.
Work continues on the refurbishment of the second coach bogie, it pleasing when the wheels are reunited with the frames.
