Description
Give the gift of a very special experience this Christmas. This one day traction engine driving course is a friendly and informal opportunity to get behind the wheel of a beautifully restored 1920s steam traction engine and make a dream come true.
The day starts at 10am with an induction explaining the safety and the basic introduction to the workings of a steam engine. You will then join the instructors for hands on experience all morning before stopping for lunch which is included. In the afternoon the trailer will be hitched up and your visitors may take a ride.
Morning and afternoon tea or coffee and a light lunch are provided for driving participants. Family or friends are welcome to come and watch with an opportunity for photographs of the participants in action on the footplate.
