Although it has been a quiet start to the year, things in the workshop are progressing.
The gold tractor is in for some TLC, as you can see with bits all over the workshop it is a big job.
Helga had another steam test which was successful this time. Before Christmas we did steam her, but with some leaks from joints in the main steam pipe another approach was needed.
So with some modifications carried out on the regulator end of the steam pipe, this has solved the leak at this joint and a bit of fiddling finally stopped some small leaks on the cylinder end of the pipe.
Next is to reattach a few other bits and then the boiler test with the inspector.
