This week work continues on Helga's boiler. After a few light steaming sessions the boiler is settling down, some of the fittings had a bit of attention to stop a few drips. We pumped the boiler up hydraulically and it was gratifying when she held pressure, one step closer to the hydraulic test.
We have previously done quite a bit of work on the chassis which is still in good condition, with only a few jobs remaining, cylinder drain cocks that leak and checking the water well tanks.
Outside after the Father's Day event Eigiau was cleaned and one of the mowers was worked on.
In the shed the steam roller is progressing with cleaning and primer being applied and finally the Fordson Major tractor is undergoing some TLC.
