This week the cleaning of the locos used on the Halloween event has started
Armistice has been drained of water, cleaned and checked over as she is not going to be used over the winter.
We had a move around of the locos, this is in preparation for bringing some of the coaches into the shed for a bit of a refresh of the varnish and paint work plus a few other jobs, the driver of the Simplex was struggling a bit so the Barclay provided assistance.
Work continues on Helga, attaching pipes, brakes, blower ring, general cleaning and painting. Hopefully we should be doing a steam test in the coming weeks.
