Brouhot Portable has all tubes removed.

We have now removed all the tubes in this portable engine.   The new tubes are on order (thanks to a donation to cover the cost – you know who you are – much appreciated).  We don’t expect them to be delivered until January so work will progress after the Christmas events to have the boiler ready for the tube installation when they do arrive.  In the meantime the metal covers have been shot blasted courtesy of McNealy Brown in Sittingbourne.  Their wheel refurbishment and powder coating division, have been really supportive in helping us.  Photo left of the smokebox end plate being prepared to receive the new tubes and onthe removed smoke box and chimney,
