Signal semaphores overhauled and converted to battery

The signals at Stony Shaw have been pretty much “unloved” for quite a while, so the volunteers have been giving them an overhaul and update.  Having replaced blocked grease nipples, cleaned and scraped, they have been given a fresh coat of paint and new coloured lenses.  We have also abandoned the old parafin lamps inside for new 12V LED lights.  The drivers should now be able to see them – all the time!
