Yard Crane to get a new boom

Our yard crane has been on display by the turntable for many years and with modern technology now available (i.e. a telehandler) it isn’t something that gets any use.  Nevertheless, it does get checked regularly and a coat of paint less frequently than it deserves.  During a recent check we identified serious rot on the boom which is beyond repair.  A new chestnut boom is now being made, and the crane is expected to come into the workshop for restoration over the winter.  Anyone out there fancy a project!!!
